Recycled Shirt Subscriptions

'For Days' Has Customers to Return Ripped Shirts to Get New Ones

Fashion is quickly becoming a disposable-focused industry but a new brand called For Days is hoping to change this with its new t-shirt subscription model. Stains, rips and tears often lead wearers to dispose of a piece of clothing, but For Days is encouraging customers to simply return the shirt to them and get a new one. The start-up will then recycle the old shirt to produce future products and ship those out to more buyers. In this regard, For Days has essentially developed a circular economy in which future products are produced from the remains of past products.

The shirts themselves are comprised of cotton—both 100% organic and the remains of recycled shirts. For Days currently offers three levels to its subscription model, ranging from $12 a month to $36 a month. The varying levels will not affect the quality of shirts or service, but will simply focus on the number of shirts a customer receives each month.
