Chartwells K12's Foodie Fest is a limited-time dining program that brings festival-inspired flavors to school cafeterias from May through July. This venture will begin with the celebration of School Lunch Hero Day on May 1st — an event that "spotlights the cafeteria teams who make these experiences possible and reinforces their impact on student well-being." Foodie Fest will kick off from the position that school nutrition professionals are "the true stars behind the scenes and the Champions of the Tray."

The Chartwells K12 Foodie Fest program will feature rotating menu items such as BBQ turkey legs, Mexican street corn, walking tacos, breakfast banana splits, lemonade stand smoothies, beef gyros, and pineapple whip. The campaign is designed to transform routine school meals into interactive dining moments with bold flavors and colorful presentations.
