Stop Motion Food Games

The Game Over Video by PES Recreates Retro Games Using Edible Items

PES is an animation creator that recently put together a series of stop motion food games that recreate retro arcade games using edible ingredients. The result is a series of familiar foods such as pizza, cupcakes and muffins standing in as iconic characters such as Pac-Man.

The film is entitled 'Game Over' and it utilizes stop motion animation to capture the food redesigned as game characters in individual images. Each picture captures a minuscule movement and when the entirety is strung together, it forms a scene out of one of the games. The movie focuses on Pac-Man recreating the iconic circular character out of a pizza and the Ghost villains from eggs and pieces of candy.
