The American artist Tom Friedman crafts a life-sized foil sculpture of a male figure urinating entirely made of foil. This sculpted piece depicts detailed human features that shine with pure aluminum foil. The work is untitled as ‘peeing figure’ where he makes a humorous statement of the urinating action. The water works is also made of thin metallic wiring that is carefully made to display the aiming direction towards the ground.
The finished structure is entirely made of metal where the foil is embedded to add texture. This foil sculpture also shows how it’s folded and crimped into the silhouette of a towering man. The sculpture can be found in a public sector of the art basel in Miami beach.
