Zaha Hadid's Sinuous Bathroom Design for Triflow is Mesmerizing
Elsa Blaine — January 31, 2009 — Art & Design
Architect Zaha Hadid has designed this stunning faucet for UK-based company Triflow. The tap’s fluid shape was inspired by flowing water. The handle is built in seamlessly at the tip, making the piece look like one continuous liquid stream.
The point where the swivel action takes place is situated halfway up the spout and as it pivots, new sinuous forms evolve. Filtered water is set in motion with a touch-sensitive button.
The faucet is actually a sleek chrome-plated piece of sculpture for the home, and would look fabulous in an ultra-modern kitchen or a contemporary bathroom.
