As one of the leaders of the wearable fitness movement, Fitbit is introducing the next generation of devices with the Fitbit Blaze.
Rather than being a complete smartwatch, the band is watch-like in appearance with a colored touchscreen, yet it is only devoted to fitness monitoring. Blaze features a built-in heart rate tracker and SmartTrack for exercise recognition. Like expensive smartwatches, Blaze can be customized with a number of different bands and frames to dress up or dress down the device.
As far as some of the technological features of Blaze, it includes a batter that's built to last about five days, smart notifications and the capability to sync with the Fitbit dashboard. One of the neatest features of the band may be that it even leads workouts, complete with onscreen guidance.
