Smart-Designed Fitness-Tracking Wearables

Xiaomi Unveils Its Latest Smart Band 8

Xiaomi has revealed its latest smart-designed fitness-tracking wearable called the Smart Band 8. This new iteration has a new set of redesigned straps for personalization and a necklace accessory. The fitness-tracking wearable will have a pill-shaped AMOLED display, similar to the design of its predecessor.

The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 has added two new features: Running Bean Mode and Interactive Boxing Mode. Running Bean Modes is made to be used while running. When the mode is activated, it tracks data on stride frequency, stride length, ground impact force, and ground landing method. Interactive Boxing Mode tracks data related to somatic senses or somatosensory systems for consumers who participate in the combat sports such as boxing. Additional features include heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen measurement, sleep tracking, and stress monitoring. The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 will be available on April 18.
