Festival toilets are a tricky category. Due to the sheer volume of use, it is often hard to keep them clean and it is the case that one needs to wait for longer periods of time to use a stall — especially if you're a woman. Gina Périer and Alexander Egebjerg attempt to address this issue with the 'Lapee' — a "pink plastic structure [with] three urinals arranged in a spiral." The female-focused festival toilet is curvy, featuring design elements that allow for privacy. The festival toilet can be hooked up to a sewage system, but it also has a reservoir. Its silhouette is directly informed by men's urinals. Gina Périer and Alexander Egebjerg's creation is also quite functional, aside from its usability. The structure is made to be durable and can be easily transported from site to site.
