Ferruccio Laviani ‘(W)hole' Design for Fratelli Boffi is El

Ferruccio Laviani ‘(W)hole’ adds a pop of contemporary color to a bedroom classic, making this dresser atypical. Designer Laviani was commissioned by Italian furniture company Fratelli Boffi and featured in 2012 Milan Design Week. The company’s goal yearly is to use the week dedicated to design as a stage where it can make a strong image with just one piece.

This year, (W)hole acted as a show-stopping attention grabber. The furniture’s fuchsia-colored lacquered wood accentuates the curves of the piece. The aesthetic playfulness of it will spice up a furniture piece that many may have percieved as dated.

The creativity of Laviani works to meld a contempo-classical infusion perfectly. The mixing of furniture styles is perfect for any eclectic design lover.
