For this doll shoot, photographer Gary Price and makeup artist Faye Garland have transformed models into marionettes. Using prosthetic hooks, Garland strung models up in a way that even Photoshop couldn't replicate.

Implications - The ideology behind dolls is that they represent the perfect woman who will do whatever their user wants. This has translated to pop culture through fashion spreads such as marionette models. Fashion wants to project the image of perfection onto the target audiences through themes, clothes and photoshop. The idea that perfection is achievable is a continuing notion within this industry.
