Prodigious Rubber Primates

The Fat Monkey Debuts at the Pixelshow 2010 Conference

This monstrosity of a monkey is called the 'Fat Monkey,' and has been causing quite the commotion in Sao Paulo and all over the blogosphere. As a collaboration between local art students, the Fat Monkey is a fabulous example of simple installation art at its best.

The massive mongrel is made entirely of rubber flip flops, and sits at about the same size as a school bus. Laying lazily on a lawn near the Pixelshow venue, the Fat Monkey is difficult to miss. Check out the featured gallery to see the Fat Monkey in all its glory.
