'I Heart Mac & Cheese' Opened its First 'FastMac' Location

'I Heart Mac & Cheese,' the Florida-based restaurant famous for its macaroni bowls, has opened a new drive-up pickup location named the 'FastMac.' The first FastMac opened at the brand's Gulfport, Florida location, and it will function slightly differently than a drive-thru window. The drive-up window will require that guests place an order in advance on the I Heart Mac & Cheese mobile app. Then, upon arriving at the restaurant, the customers can simply drive up to the window and pick up their order without leaving the car or needing to pay at the restaurant.

The opening of FastMac was accompanied by a new set of updates for the restaurant's mobile application. These updates improved the functionality of the user interface, added more viable payment methods, and made the entire mobile ordering process smoother for customers to use.
