Kid-Friendly Fashion Classes

This Design Class Allows Children to Explore the World of Fashion

'Zaniac' is now offering a series of fashion classes for children in grades four to eight. The enrichment-course franchise has largely built its reputation on offering classes in the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) stream. The new fashion-based course combines core STEM concepts with valuable design skills.

The course runs for a total of six weeks and is open to children in grades four through eight. The classes have a student-to-teacher ratio of approximately five-to-one, meaning the students will receive hands-on instructions directly from their teachers. Some of the skills learned throughout the course include the use of vector graphics, color theory, virtual mode boards and other basic graphic design skills.

While the course is open to both boys and girls, the goal of the kid-friendly fashion classes is to encourage more girls to pursue STEM careers that suit their specific areas of interest.
