Tezuka Architecture designed this little house with a roof that extends far beyond the actual frame of the house. The far-reaching roof is made entirely from wood and provides a cozy porch and patio area amidst its forestry setting.

Turns out the shade that the far-reaching roof provides actually helps reduce the need for heating, turning the tiny little house into a sustainable abode. Check it out in the gallery above!

Implications - Sure, it may leave the owners exposed to more of nature's elements, but that's kind of the point. Can you not imagine yourself hosting a house party and having the perfect outdoor patio with this thing? You'd get the awesome warm of summer, but none of the rain.
