Normally coming in late comes with a slap on the wrist, but this fake sandstorm by Romanian reporter Adrian Boioglu is the result of his untimely showing.
The reporter was sent to cover the unfavorable weather conditions happening across the coast of the Black Sea. However, when Boioglu arrived on the scene, the breaking news had already settled to the dust. So what does any good journalist do? Improvise. Boioglu had a cameraman kick up the ground to create a fake sandstorm as he discussed the wind’s powerful pull. When the recording cameraman panned a little too far to the right, the stunt was exposed rather awkwardly on live television.
You know it's a slow news day when breaking news concerns some hot windy weather. This fake sandstorm by Romanian reporter Boioglu goes to show it’s never a good idea to show up late for a gig.
