Italian-Made Everyday Objects

The Extra-Ordinary Gallery Revises Common Items in Marble and Glass

There are certain things that people have simply begun to take for granted such as the fact that dumbbell weights are often crafted out of metal and hanging baskets have a three dimensional appearance from all angles; the Extra-Ordinary Gallery is working to change those assumptions. The Extra-Ordinary Gallery "is a collection of ordinary objects designed by a team of Fabrica’s designers who used traditional Italian materials like marbles of Canova and Murano glasses interpreted in a new and international way—all made in Italy," as succinctly written by Design Milk.

From paper-like clocks to shadow-like shelves, the Extra-Ordinary Gallery is chock full of ordinary objects that aren't so ordinary any more. They are currently for sale at Fabrica's online shop.
