In order to support a vibrant community of up-and-coming designers in the city of London where rent is exorbitantly high, Something & Son is launching an experimental concept store by the name of '50m' in May.
For an affordable monthly fee, emerging designers will be able to have their work shown within a retail space, which also doubles as a community hub, event space and cafe. 50m is being introduced to the world as a unique "democratic retail environment for the next generation of emerging creative talent."
Some of the designers that will be featured at the opening of 50m include London College of Fashion graduate Bethany Williams, jewelry studio RÄTHEL & WOLF and menswear designer Ka Wa Key. While becoming part of the 50m community will help to boost these brands' visibility to the public, they will also gain access to support from industry leaders and experts.
