Emerging London Designer Exhibitions

POOR Collective Showcases the Powershift Exhibition in London

Social enterprise POOR Collective has launched the Powershift exhibition for the second year in a row to bring more attention to emerging young designers. It is a part of this year's London Design Festival and offers the young talent a platform, especially for those who struggle to showcase their work during such a large event. it is short for Power Out of Restriction and this project aims to empower the talent and give them opportunities.

The co-founder of POOR Collective, Shawn Adams shares the design notion, stating "We're primarily a design practice but we also look out for other ways that we can champion young designers. Each of the participants in the Powershift exhibition is taking skills and knowledge from working in one discipline and applying that to something completely different."
