Expanded Cross-Device Connectivity

Googlebook Brings Better Together to Samsung Galaxy

Googlebook is expanding cross-device connectivity by introducing Better Together functionality for Samsung Galaxy smartphones running One UI 9.0 and Android 17. The update allows compatible Samsung users to connect their phones with Googlebook laptops, making it easier to switch between devices and access connected features. Improvements to the initial setup process also reduce the steps required to establish these connections.

The rollout includes Continue On, Cast My Apps, Quick Access, and Notification Sync, supporting activity continuity, app access, and synchronized alerts. Updated Google Play services also address delays involving setup QR codes. These changes are being distributed automatically through software and background service updates.

For users, the expansion creates a more convenient experience across compatible devices. For Googlebook, broader smartphone support could strengthen its appeal among Samsung owners, while simpler onboarding may encourage greater adoption of its connected-device features.
