This Hong Kong Market Boasts a Vast Variety of Exotic Sea Creatures
Better than a pet store, the massive Goldfish Market in Mong Kok, Hong Kong is filled with exotic sea creatures. Although it's called a goldfish market, there are mass amounts of other beautiful oceanic pets to view and admire. From familiar animals like turtles and fish to tiny striking seahorses there are many exciting swimmers to see.
The outdoor street market takes up the majority of two blocks along Tung Choi Street North. Each precious creature is hung from a rack like a bird feeder in a tree. Every tropical animal is more endearing than the next. They are all waiting in temporary plastic bag pools to be transported into an aquarium.
The exotic sea creatures are available at the market daily but are most beautiful when lit up at night.
