Annemoon Geurts presents a look at the Evolving Harmony: Intertwining Hope and Design exhibition, which is a show that is part of this year's Dutch Design Week. It takes place at Kazerne, which is a large meeting and hospitality space, which is also used for exhibitions.
The new show explores a "radically different way to live, produce, and consume together." The space featured large sculptural pieces -- there were three and two were made by Grietje Schepers starting with the Ellipt 007, which is made from natural Durch wool felt materials. It creates a unique pattern and is then followed by the Crawling sculpture. The wall text reads “The Crawling objects capture your attention with their insect-like composure. The creatures seem to come towards you while they are obviously too heavy to walk.”
