Etihad Airways partnered with a travel management company, CWT, to launch a carbon offsetting scheme, marking the first partnership of its kind. The eco-conscious initiative forms part of the Corporate Conscious Choices program from the United Arab Emirates' flag-carrier.
The airline will use the ICAO Carbon Emissions Calculation methodology to offset CWT client bookings made on Etihad-operated flights to accomplish a carbon offset. The program will run until the end of arch 2022.

Its initial offsetting partnership with Etihad marks a ground-breaking airline initiative for both companies.
