Fire and water might be opposing elements, but they come together to help create the Erosion set, a collection of stunning porcelain cups and bowls. Interestingly enough, the collection isn't inspired by the elements specifically, but by the solar system in general.

To create the beautiful patterns, the unbaked porcelain is first etched using a gas burner’s flame creating a unique, erosion-like texture often found on planets. Secondly, various glaze techniques are applied to finish the pieces with contrasting colors. The Erosion set was designed by Studio Floris Wubben and boasts a slew of different designs -- each more organic than the next. It's made for people who appreciate craftsmanship and one of a kind designs.
