As part of its Less Packaging, More Smiles program, Amazon is introducing more environmentally friendly boxes that help to reduce its large carbon footprint. In addition to encouraging people to properly recycle these boxes, Amazon is also offering ideas on how the boxes can be creatively repurposed. Amazon is using QR codes to share how customers can turn these eco-friendly boxes into playful structures for pets, including everything from condos or rockets to forts.
Before recycling these cardboard boxes from Amazon, pet owners will find that they can easily create playful designs like windmills and box cars. Amazon is also reducing its packaging output by reducing the amount of materials that need to go into a box yet still make sure items are still able to arrive safely and protected.
