GM is Creating an Electrically Powered Tuck with an Extensive Range

GM indicated that it is working to create an electrically powered truck, which will be released under the Chevy brand. The electrically powered truck will be a full-size pickup that is capable of driving for 400 miles on a single charge. However, the company did not indicate whether the electric pickup will be in the Silverado line or a new line of vehicles.

Previously the company was rumored to be working toward releasing an electric truck in 2021. Addtiaonly GM stated it would have several electric vehicles available to consumers by the mid-2020s, and by 2030 the majority of the brand's vehicles would be electrically powered. Overall transitioning the company to produce more electric cars will help to entice eco-conscious consumers.
