Eclectic Electric Ukuleles

The 'Ukelation' Line Comprises Ukuleles With Amplified Sound

The Ukelation is a collection of electric ukuleles, designed by Washington-based electrical engineer and luther Monty Ross, that enables ukulele players to produce amplified sound without having to fret about amplifiers and cables.

This fully untethered electric ukulele enables you to just play away. If you're the type of musician who likes to use fancy effects, you can do that as well thanks to effects controls located on the ukulele itself. This means you don't need to set up a footpedal to awkwardly stomp on to impress that cute flute-playing girl at the hipster jam session.

The Ukelation is currently the subject of a Kickstarter campaign, with a pledge of $1,999 getting you set up with one ukulele around August 2015 if the campaign meets its fundraising target.
