Siemens' New Form of Electric Propulsion Uses Digital Twin Tech

 - Apr 9, 2018
Siemens released the prototype of its new electric propulsion technology, the new eAircraft USA. The technology was made to reduce fuel consumption, noise and carbon emissions as well as provide quieter airports, landing and takeoff spots.

By using digital twin technology, the company created a virtual representation allowing the company to maintain and optimize the design throughout the entire lifecycle. By putting the new prototype in place, the company offers shorter wait times at security and less stress while navigating terminals, by creating small airlines that specialize in short-haul intricate routes.

Aiming to change everyday travel, Siemens' new electric propulsion technology uses new digital twin technology to make travel simple, safe and eco-friendly with the most advanced technology.
