Deliveroo's Eid with Ease Campaign Helped Customers Celebrate Eid

This past summer, the food delivery service 'Deliveroo' teamed up with some of the best restaurants in seven major UK cities for a promotion called 'Eid with Ease.' With delivery options ranging from curries to chicken wings, the promotion provided an easy way for families to enjoy a delicious, halal-friendly meal without having to cook.

Designed as a way to help families celebrate the most important day in the Islamic calendar, the Eid with Ease campaign was launched in partnership with restaurants such as Maroush in London, Pomegranate in Edinburgh and Tru Burger in Birmingham. On the day of the celebration, customers were able to order curries, burgers, lamb rolls and more, directly through the Deliveroo app to be enjoyed in the comfort of their home. As Deliveroo's CEO and co-founder WIll Shu explains, "Eid is a time when many Muslim families come together to celebrate the end of Ramadan with delicious food, so it was a natural fit to have Deliveroo join in with the festivities."
