Halloween Food-Delivery Campaigns

Grubhub is Encouraging Customers to Order-In with New Campaign

The Grubhub Halloween campaign has begun with the company providing data-backed reasons for customers to order-in for dinner this spooky season. Grubhub noted that Halloween is actually more popular for pizza delivery than the Super Bowl. This is due to customers spending a large portion of their time handing out candy, preparing spooky decorations, going trick-or-treating, or scrambling for last-minute celebrations. This leads to most individuals having limited time to prepare a full-scale dinner dish for their families.

As a result, Grubhub is encouraging customers to order-in, while providing information on the most popular restaurants, dishes, and orders from previous years. According to Grubhub, orders rose by a factor of 37.5% on Halloween of 2021 compared to the annual average, with the top 10 dishes including burrito bowls, cheeseburgers, pizzas, wings, quesadillas, and other fast party foods.
