Not everything revolving around the Christmas season has to be dripping in red and green as the Eggnog Yule Log shows. It is a holiday dessert that is as stylish as it is tasty. As its name suggests, it is a delicious representation of the "large and very hard log which is burned in the hearth as a part of traditional Yule or Christmas celebrations in several European cultures," describes Wikipedia.
Baked by Stella Parks, the resident chef at BraveTart, the Eggnog Yule Log surrounds aneggnog-flavored custard with fluffy cake and bark that is a mix of buttercream, dark chocolate and liquor. On top and off to the side are some mushrooms that are made of meringue.
