The Award-Winning eGeeTouch System is Being Displayed at CES 2015
Alyson Wyers — January 6, 2015 — World
On display at CES 2015, the eGeeTouch is described as the world's first smart luggage lock and enables travelers to access their luggage with one touch. Rather than leaving them fumbling with combination codes and keys, eGeeTouch technology incorporates an NFC-enabled synced smartphone, smartwatch or tablet. You can also use one of their NFC tags.
The smart luggage locks make traveling (especially through airports) less of a hassle while offering increased security for your personal belongings at the same time. For airports in the United States, the system also includes a TSA-compliant key.
From startup Digipas, the smart lock system was a winner of this year's CES Innovation Award. In addition to luggage locks, smart combination locks and smart electronic padlocks also exist as available products.
