Education First Remodeled its Interior with Cues from Denver's Culture

Education First is a company that specializes in language-learning tours across the world. Its Denver outpost occupies two floors in the city's first commercial cross-laminated timber building. The company decided to model its interior design off of the city's outdoorsy culture.
With the use of natural materials and earth-toned color palettes, the in-house design team at Education First evoked the feeling of being outdoors while inside the office for an uplifting working experience. Boasting 4,950 square meters, the office's interior was designed in collaboration with architecture firm Gensler. The team used both figurative and literal references to nature to connect the city to the brand. Natural wood and cozy corners characterize the space and reference log cabins found in rural Colorado.
