Halo Top's 'Eat the Ice Cream' Envisions an Unsettling World Run by Robots

American video director, special effects artist, musician and YouTuber Mike Dahlquist (also known as Mike Diva) recently created an unsettling commercial for Halo Top called 'Eat the Ice Cream.'

Unlike most ice cream ads that are driven by brightly colored scenes and smiles, this one immediately sets itself apart as something different. In a world where robots are becoming more and more competent, this ad offers a look into an unsettling scene from a world dominated by robots; a woman awakes alone in a clinical room and is force-fed ice cream, only to be told that "Everyone you love is gone. There is only ice cream."

Halo Top's Eat the Ice Cream is set to run just ahead of horror films such as Stephen King’s 'It.'
