These DIY Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures Can Be Printed at Home

Miguel Zavala recently created a free library of 3D printable Dungeons & Dragons miniatures for D&D fans everywhere. With nearly 300 different figurines to choose from, the DIY game pieces are a great way to enhance tabletop games or help RPG players better visualize different actions during a game.

The rise of Dungeons & Dragons miniatures largely came about as a way to help players visualize the complicated game system. However, many of these figures have gone out of print or become difficult to find over the years. Now with Zavala's library, which is available from his Shapeways store, players can get a hold of their favorite figures simply by printing them at home. Players can also download the entire Monster Manual as well as miscellaneous characters from Appendix A and Appendix B.

Zavala's project ultimately gives consumers a way to enhance a popular game by printing their own game pieces at home instead of purchasing them.
