The concept of a 3D printable church tower is underway and gaining traction. Tainted Saint Miniatures out of Rhein, Germany, was created by Leonard Bäcker. Leo is a 3D art student currently studying in Germany, looking to do what he loves and keep bringing new printed models to fans.
The designs are printed and painted with fine detail. The creator went to great lengths in ensuring the printing was as easy as possible, needing only a few support pieces for the base of the mighty tower. Ladders, railings, and the rest of the materials making up a set are printed with a resin printer.
Leonard Bäcker is hoping to share his state-of-the-art paintings as soon as possible, saying once his project has ended and payments are made, files will be sent over to buyers' emails. You can check out his progress over on Kickstarter's website.
