Ducks Unlimited Canada Will Reopen to the Public on May 24

Ducks Unlimited Canada has completed a comprehensive $25 million renovation of the Harry J. Enns Wetland Discovery Centre at Oak Hammock Marsh. The extensive upgrades have modernized the center’s exhibits, infrastructure, and visitor amenities while maintaining its core focus on environmental education and wetland conservation. Key improvements include interactive displays that highlight wetland ecosystems, a revitalized diorama with dynamic lighting and sound effects, an enhanced theater with advanced audiovisual technology, and a redesigned café offering panoramic views of the surrounding marshland. Additionally, a new event space has been added to accommodate conferences and community gatherings. Ducks Unlimited Canada also reports that the completed sustainability upgrades are expected to reduce energy consumption by nearly 50% in the facility.

The grand reopening weekend will feature discounted admission and special activities.
