Alexis Mirer Brings New Life to Run-of-the-Mill Youthful Years

I don’t know about you, but gone are my Monday blues after looking at the series of lively images by 19-year-old Alexis Mirer, a self-taught photographer and a creative writing student in Jacksonville, Florida.

Dreamy and simply beautiful, the series of pictures depict the carefree life of a happy-go-lucky teenage girl, as well as the sight and sound of the suburb. While I like every single picture here by Kirer, I especially love the one where this girl is seen riding her bicycle under the night sky, with the bright lights from the sparklers casting a magical touch to the overall image. Then there is another rather vintage-esque picture, which shows boxes of fresh flowers and some floral arrangements in the SUV.
