Botanica's Don Eliette Collection Catalog is Inspired by the 90s

Botanica's 'Don Eliette' collection catalog revives 90's themed eyewear looks. NYC-based designer Nic De La Paz is the label's creative director and is responsible for the brand's nostalgic style direction.

Channeling the retro Versace styles worn by rap icon Notorious B.I.G, this collection marries gold materials with vintage sunglasses shapes. Photographer Antwan Duncan did a formidable job at capturing the final look of the photos.

The result is the label's 'Don Eliette' collection, a unisex style made with 18 karat gold. This eyewear design is showcased in a nostalgic lookbook that features a couple who poses on New York streets and inside a laundromat.

The inspiration behind Botanica's latest collection is Eliette Anthony Alvarez, "a man with a wardrobe of myth whose vibrant 70s-90s jewelry collection was acquired on his travels between NYC and Puerto Rico."
