The designers at DOIY are aiming to bring a sense of childhood nostalgia into the kitchen with ‘Cooking Blocks,’ a set of kitchen tools and utensils that can be stacked and arranged like toy bricks. The Cooking Blocks range consists of a ladle, spatula and pasta drainer mounted on a rectangular gray panel by three bright blue, red and yellow handles.
The handles can be secured onto the frame, which holds and suspends them in place using a building block-like locking mechanism. This quirky design brings a sense of childhood curiosity, creativity and playfulness into the kitchen, without compromising on functionality and affordability.
