This Wine Bottle Helps to Create a DIY Wrapping Paper Print

— December 21, 2017 — Art & Design
For the creation of a seasonal bottle of mulled wine, Buddy Creative created a fun and festive bottle that can also be used to create a DIY wrapping paper print for wrapping gifts.

To create a lively, seasonal print, Buddy Creative commissioned illustrator Kate Forrester to make a seamless, repeating pattern. This pattern of bunches of grapes, citrus slices, flowers and leaves was laser-engraved into rubber and wrapped around the body of the bottle. The multipurpose wine bottles were sent by Buddy Creative with seasonal wishes and a set of instructions for printing.

A growing number of packaged products are being more thoughtfully designed to include built-in second uses, considering how an empty vessel might be useful after its contents have been emptied.
