These portraits of the characters, including Johnny Depp, from the upcoming Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland movie remake, were recently released. It looks like the costume and make-up people were in overdrive creating the macabre look for this new film. The actors are almost unrecognizable as their characters, as every detail was painstakingly considered to give the characters a Victorian look.
Fans of Alice in Wonderland are going to have to wait until March 2010 to see the film, but it looks like it is going to be a hit. It’ll be interesting to see what Johnny Depp does as the Mad Hatter.
