Short-Form Video Previews

Vertical Feeds Help Members Discover Content on Netflix

Despite the overwhelming amount of content on streaming services, people often find themselves trapped in an endless scroll, unable to decide what to watch, and there's a new way to discover content on Netflix thanks to a new feature. Netflix is testing a vertical feed featuring clips of shows and movies so that users can quickly get a feel for the tone of the show to see if it suits their interests. When they find something that seems interesting, Netflix users can tap to watch the whole show or movie instantly, add it to a list, or share with friends.

Additionally, Netflix unveiled a new way for members to search with a GenAI feature as part of a small opt-in beta for iOS. This lets members use natural, conversational phrases like “I want something funny and upbeat.”
