Croatian retailer Studenac is implementing electronic shelf labels (ESLs) throughout its store network, marking a significant step towards modernizing its operations. This initiative aims to enhance price accuracy, improve operational efficiency, and offer a better shopping experience for customers.

The deployment of ESLs will replace traditional paper price tags with digital displays, allowing for real-time price updates and reducing the labor costs associated with manual price changes. This technology ensures that prices are consistently accurate across all stores, minimizing discrepancies and enhancing customer trust.

"[Today] I spent a day in a store in Zagreb, as a part of the initiative From Office to Store and most of my morning went on fulfilling the shelves with fresh fruits and veggies and removing the old ones. I have to notice that my effort wasn't wasted, and the neat and tidy display actually got the attention of the buyers," said Ivana Kršić, Head of Innovation at Studenac.
