Many buildings have undergone an illuminating facelift before, but only Dexia Towers can boast the power of weather prediction. With its rainbow of 72,000 LEDs, a somewhat complex color-coding system informs passersby what climate to expect the next day.
Designed by lab-au, Dexia Towers' weather prediction is so informative, in fact, that it broadcasts humidity, wind speed and precipitation. In an attempt to be eco-conscious, the building lights up for only 10 minutes every hour between sunset and midnight.
