Tidbyt is the perfect home device that is simplistic and keeps users up to date on foundational information without distracting other features. It is designed in a Brooklyn workshop by creators Rohan Singh and Mats Linander. The design boasts a slightly retro theme and has a display that is low resolution with 64 x 32 pixel LEDs.

It is framed in a solid wood enclosure to nod to the overarching vintage aesthetic and relates to a home decor piece rather than a digital device. Notably, the device is entirely hackable and the company encourages users to write their own apps in order to expand the features of the current options on top of their creation.
