The Eggslut restaurant has a new dessert-inspired egg dish that is perfect for a hybrid breakfast.
Created by chef Alvin Cailan, this delicious breakfast meal is called the Egg Brulee and it incorporates all the flavorful aesthetics of a creme brulee atop a traditional soft-boiled egg. A creme brulee is a very popular French dessert that involves the melting of caramel done by a blowtorch. Just like the European cuisine, this dish also involves a blowtorch but with sugar in place of caramel.
With sugar, salt and eggs, this dish requires minimal ingredients and can be made at home. However, this dessert-inspired egg dish does require the use of a blowtorch and unfortunately cannot be made without one.
