The latest location of London's charming Department of Coffee and Social Affairs brand has found a home in the city's historic Spitalfields market. The simplistic layout of this new location manages to still champion the rustic, minimal vibes of the brand's other shops while reflecting back some of the charms of the market.
The tiny, charismatic coffee bar doesn't contain much more than the sleek wooden bar holding the shop's espresso machine of choice, the La Marzocco Strada EP.
The Department of Coffee and Social Affairs has a social business aspect to it in addition to being purveyors of quality coffee. The fast-expanding brand is actively involved with efforts such as the Central London Rough Sleepers Committee and the Afri-CAN Charity.
