Dell Releases the New 'Plus' Version of the 'XPS 13' Laptop Series

Dell debuted the ‘XPS 13’ laptop model back in January at CES 2022, and now the largely successful computer manufacturer is back for a new version of their latest laptop. The ‘XPS 13 Plus’ is now available in silver or graphite, and boasts a 13.4-inch 1920x1200 16:10 aspect ratio display. It also includes an Intel 12th Gen Core i5-1240P processor, 60-W USB-C AC adapter, and features two Thunderbolt 4 ports. Notably missing is a headphone jack, so consumers who own wired headphones may have to reconsider this model.
The futuristic model adds a touch bar-like row of backlit function keys, a new trackpad, and a keyboard that sits against the chassis. The ‘XPS 13 Plus’ can be upgraded at the time of purchase to include 1080p or 4K touchscreen functionality. There will also be a Developer Edition of the ‘XPS 13 Plus’ that will ship with ‘Ubuntu 20.04.’
