Sebastian Herkner Designs 'Delight Glass Tables' for Pulpo

Taking inspiration from the dusted covering of Turkish delight, designer Sebastian Herkner creates this series of 'Delight Glass Tables' for German brand, Pulpo. Herkner is based out of Offenbach, Germany and implements the look of the Turkish dessert into his designs. Inspired by the icing sugar aesthetics, he adds a frosty finish to his work. The glass side tables have exteriors that resemble a round, "toadstool-like" shape, consisting of handblown glass, followed by a coat of a matte, clear finish.

The Delight Glass Tables come in a variety of sizes that range from four different colours -- 'transparent,' 'smokey gray,' 'white,' and 'aubergine.' The Pulpo Crystal collection will be launching later this month at the IMM Cologne and Maison&Objet trade shows and is set to feature the creative tables.
