Creepy Critter Corpses

The Daniel & Geo Fuchs Conserving Animals Series

Daniel & Geo Fuchs are German-born artists whose work centers around the idea of limitations and boundary-pushing. The Conserving Animals Series is obviously no exception, with actual dead animals (and even humans!) conserved in alcohol and other preservative materials.

Luckily, Daniel & Geo Fuchs did not harm any animals in the making of this series. What's astounding about these prints is the liveliness that each of the subjects still maintains in lieu of their death.
